Surveylet System Requirements

Before installing Surveylet on your local corporate network, please, make sure that the following hardware and software requirements are met. The requirements of Surveylet are minimal so Surveylet can coexist with other applications on the same server. Below you will find the minimal requirements and a sample installation which may help you decide how much your hardware can process.

Hardware Requirements

• RAM: 256Mb
• CPU: Pentium 1.5 GHZ
• DISK: 20 MB

Software Requirements

• Operating system: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 (all versions).
• Web server: IIS 5.0 or higher recommended.
• Database server: Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Microsoft SQL Server Express.
• Email messaging*: AspQMail component from ServerObjects, Inc. [click]
• File upload*: AspUpload 3.x component from AspUpload, Inc. [click]
• Charting*: Swiff Chart Generator (3.2.1) from GlobeFX. [click]
• Charting*: AspImage 2.x component from ServerObjects, Inc. [click]
• Respondent's browser: any internet browser.
• Surveylet Administrators' browser: Internet Explorer version 5.01 (or higher), Netscape Navigator version 6.2 (or higher) or other compatible browsers that support JavaScript.
